Tom,

The Campagnolo SL weighed in at 328 grams while the SR weighed in at 263 grams. Yes, magnet test works best to ID one another. They seem to have been reasonably available when new based on their current availability - both NOS and used; I have 2 used sets and 1 new. They show up on ebay, Campy Only, etc. with some regularity.
