I hope this is not rehashing old info but I couldn't find anything specifically in the archives to answer this question.
I have a couple of old leather saddles that are hard as rocks and dry. Is Proofide the only method for getting some moisture back into the leather? I have some leather working oil whose name escapes me right now and I was wondering if I could use some of this to get the leather a bit softer.
