http://www.classicrendezvous.com/France/Ideale_2003.htm This is a link to new pics of the saddle, not mine.

Above link has pictures. The saddle was scuffed on the nose and side front during shipping. The complete bike looks like the 258 miles on the Huret Cyclometer might be the actual mileage so I'm guessing that is the mileage on the pedals, saddle and Cyclometer. Other than the scuffs on the saddle, it is a nice saddle made by Ideale, Peau Mousse model with leather and foam over plastic. The archives have some recent discussion about it. $43 shipped. The pedals have Lapize clips with Christophe straps, excellent condition with no cleat wear on the black cages or scuffs on the end pieces--nice shiny silver body!!
Steel axles. $80 shipped for the pedals. The Huret Cyclometer is one of those that has the trip and total distance with the rubber band that runs around a pulley that fits to the end of the hub. $23 shipped for the Cyclometer. Bike isn't for sale. This makes my 4th Columbine in the stable with one more passing thru my hands to another listmember a few years ago (big bike that went to Texas). Reynolds 531 and nutted brakes makes me think this is one of the Murphy brothers earlier models as all of my others have Tange Prestige tubing. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
