Please But, aren't you still paying the charge for the service? For instance, if I'm going to limit myself on how much I'm going to spend on something, that limit includes shipping, handling, surcharges, time spent tracking down fraudulent sellers, espresso and biscotti (vintage, OT biscotti -- made by a little Italian named Alfredo). Realistically, it doesn't matter where you file it, it still comes up as another cost to a buyer. After reading portions of the paypalsucks.com website, I'm reconsidering taking it. If I do, I'll not have it connected to my bank account -- safety and convenience (maybe). But further research is warranted here.

The business world counts it as a cost to do business, concluding that more sales are made to more than justify the cost of the plastic fees. It's variable overhead, but they also don't pay as much as Paypal charges for the service, as they have plastic accounts -- something I may look into.

The discount is a good idea, because it subtracts the amount from the total "out the door" cost, which allows the buyer to bid more, which is why we bother selling something on Ebay to begin with...right? Funny thing is, I've sold about 75 things on Ebay with a cash/money order discount, and maybe only one buyer used the option!?! We've become used to doing transactions quick and easy, so maybe we just need to relax and take the hit. For sure, we're not going to change anything within this system..., so let's have a stout (Imperial Russian Stout to be specific), pull ourselves up by the clip straps, apply a thin coat of Proofhide on the old saddle, watch the Suntour, stop and smell the Campy grease, slow down (at the intersection to avoid collision with a motorist), and keep putting one foot in front of the other (clipped into the pedals, of course).

"Show me the money".
