Subject: [CR]FS: Last NOS Masi

Because of the recent purchase of an expensive vintage bike, I must offer for sale to the list the last available NOS in-the-wrapper 1972 Masi Gran Criterium. $5,000, Partial trades for rare NOS stuf strongly considered.

Made in Verona, (V61) champagne in color, measuring 59 cm center to center, or 61 cm center to the top of the seat lug. Perfect!

This bike has ALL of the best and most desirable parts: old logo Cinelli bars + stem with clamp regular nut instead of later recessed nut, old logo Campy brake lever hoods, long reach brake levers, top of the line Pirelli tires, Martano rims, Campy headset with <C> logo on bottom cup, 172.5mm Campy cranks "No Date", flat cage frt der, flat QR on brake calipers, "Masi" embossed Silca pump, Masi cap, Masi water bottle, Pat. 72 Campy rear der, Cinelli saddle, 36 hole low flange hubs, Everest, "Caimi" FW, Campy chromed steel toe clips with strap loop, Binda straps with special Masi riveted strap ends, ALE clips. There's a VERY small set of scratches at the bottom front of the head tube- a few mm's x a few mm's. NOT a big deal, trust me.

There are probably a few small differences between the Milano Masis and the Verona Masis, but because this is still wrapped, I can't tell you what they are.
