Joe, The only thing I know about this rider was that he won only one 6 day with Dave Lands. This was the 1935 Buffalo six. I use to work for a jewish guy when I first left school. He spent sometime in the USA in the 30's and told me lots of stories about the USA track scene . Apparently Louis was very popular and well liked for his style of plucky riding. Got the crowd sympathy vote all the time. I was a VIP guest of Extram at the Ghent 6day the other week. Sat at the next table to Eddy Merckx & Jean-Marie Leblanc. My old friend Ron Hassler started the Extram sprint on the Saturday night was in the race control with Patrick Sercu. Helen Simpson was there collecting for some additions to her fathers memorial on the Ventoux The Ghent is not a patch on the 1960's advents but is still has a wonderful atmosphere. The place was full of Brits with quite a few Americans. You had Marty Northstein riding who look's a lot thinner now. The event was won by Matthew Gilmore & Bradley Wiggins the Belgium GB pairing. had Its a tragedy to think that this is the only Belgium 6day left. Best wishes and be lucky.
