Here's the story. My '69 Atala, despite being a road bike, came with a TTT stem that seems like a long, low track stem. I never could get comfortable using this stem and eventually replaced it, especially since at 52 years old I'm not especially flexible. (That is, my back isn't so flexible.)
I'm trying to get this bike set up forthe Cirque and would like to use a tall stem like a Technomic. By some miracle, does anyone have something similar - in 70mm reach - that was made in Italy; and that would be "period correct" for a 1969 Atala?
Failing that, does anyone know when the Nitto Technomic first became available? Best regards, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia
