One of my friends in Italy has a rather macabre piece of cycling memorabilia: namely the death notice for Fausto Coppi. While I am sure that it does not correspond to everybody's idea of being in good taste, I personally find it to be quite an interesting piece of historical information. My friend therefore went to great length to make me and a few other Italian collectors a copy thereof. He has offered to make another run of these copies if there is enough interest. He however insists on it being done using only top quality materials. He expects the copies to cost about 15-20 euros each if there is enough interest. Would anybody be interested?
While at le cirque, I spoke to Brett Horton about this and showed him my copy and he told me that he had an original, along with a copy of the program that was given out at the burial.
