That's the pic i get, too, as Ed describes, and we ship at least a bike or a frame several times a week. I just noticed on the 'additional shipping notes. , where the 'oversize' drop down optios are, that there's a diomension above OS2 What's that all about?also, I'm not sure that FedEx / UPS comparison (4 day- $33, 6-day $60) for the 25lb 128" box works well (VA to Nevada) I'm going to plug it in and see. Here's a funny one'take a bike box (or a piece of styrofoam in a similar dimansional scale) say 1"x4"x10"Slice it diagonally from upper corner to lower corner. You now have two right triangles 10", 4", and c.12" on each side.didja know it costs the same to ship each of those (tho half the weight and volume) as the whole rectangle?Larry BlackMt Airy, Md

I have an online account with FedEx and all I have to do is enter the buyers information then print out a shipping label for the box, a manifest sheet for the driver and that's it. No hassle.

I stopped using UPS when I was questioned at the counter of whether I had double boxed a breakable item. When I said yes, they said they needed to open it to make sure. I left and have never been back.

The thing is, if I had to fill out a form to save $26.00 I would in a hot minute.

Oh Larry,

That oversize 3 is for people like me that tries to sneak a package through that is over 130" L + G they tack on an additional $30 which I think is better than refusing the shipment.
