Mark,

Reminds me of one of my favorite misical pieces, "Holiday in Berlin" by Frank Zappa. Don't remember which album, but way back there. "Burnt Weenie Sandwhich" perhaps.

There seems to be a new surge of track activity here in CA as well, where we can ride or VINTAGE track iron. (There, I'm sorta on topic :-))

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA Hey Phil, I found a copy of the Electiric Flag album "A Long Time Comming" while I was looking through my Zappa records!!

I would just like to say a big thankyou to Kim Klakow and Dustin Nordhus via the CR. I spent a great week in Berlin over New Year and my Birthday. The guys were very hospitable, Dustin and his girlfriend gave me and a friend a slap up feed and Kim lent me a cool Mondial to ride. We visited a disused Radrennfahrbahn which entailed climbing over the fence to get in. We imagined the wooden boards making a great floor covering for a living space if it ever gets taken up. Who knows, with the renewed interest in track racing, in the UK at least, it may get restored . Lets hope so.
Cool guys, cool bikes, cool weather but dry. Thanks for the shirt.
