A collective thanks to everyone who responded. It appears to be NOT as pretty as the Magistroni in that pic. It is probably not high high quality either. The Bianchi is in block letters, the spider and arm are not one complete uninterrupted piece. On the other hand, it is amusing in suggesting using another really crappy beater, I have another on an old Hercules frameset in the basement. The catch here is, I can't BUDGE the cotter pins on this sucker. it looks like the party before me tried as well....These pins look like someone crushed them with a hammer and sickle, so I am stuck trying to figure out how to get them out....I have tried using a proper cotter tool as well. the only thing I haven't done was heat it up and then try. I sprayed some other stuff I have on them which works on EVERYTHING to free up suck metal with no luck as well. Any other suggestions?
