This is the second time through for this gear. I can't imagine anybody coming near the reserve, even if it is NOS. Personally, I would put a high bid of maximum $600, and this only because it is NOS. If you look at gears from that period, the Italian ones to go after in my opinion are:

Campagnolo Paris-Roubaix, Campagnolo Corsa, Vittoria Margherita (in the various versions) Cervino (as used by Bartali in 1949)

All the others are more or less items of curiosity but not truly significant.
