Tom,
I've been using Matrix ISO 3 clincher rims for maybe 10-12 years now. LOTS of miles; front still perfect and only changed 1 rear like 2 years ago when the DT 14 gauge spokes started giving up the goast on the drive side and I figured might as well put the "new' rim on too. Strongest of their day.
Now Mavic open pro's are the new choice, but the machined sides say "new new". John T.Pergolizzi New York, N.Y.

I have come into what seem to be a very fine set of aero tubular Matrix rims. I was kind of proud of them. Mentioning them to a fellow biking enthusiast the other day I was rather stunned when he remarked that they came on Treks. Is this true? Can someone run down a brief history of them? I thought they were quite high end, but perhaps I am mistaken.
