Hi, Jack,

I had '65 Paramount with medium blue "translucent metallic look", but also had several small chipping of the paint finish. So, I carefully used very fine sand paper to what underneath. To my surprise, there were several layers of paints, red (primer?), silver (metallic layer?), clear?, and blue of course.

In short, I do not think you can make paint finish on highly polished good chrome, but by any means I am NOT paint expert. Only thing I experienced was; there no way to let anything stick well onto my chrome Paramount, I could hardly place decals. And, soon I am afraid they will come off easily.

Warment regards,
