I think that Kashimax made track saddles prior to the end of the CR timeline. I have an older Kashimax awaiting the eventual build of my San Rensho road frame. I suspect that swallow style saddles have long been customary on British track iron, and Unicanitors on later Italians, but will be interested to hear specifics from the retrotrackies on the list.
