For riding, Saturday is a bit better, as everyone is there and up on their "best" bikes, unlike Friday when only part of the crew have arrived, and Sunday, when a few have to leave early and a large group skip the riding to set up their sales tables at the swap meet. In fact, there are two rides on Sunday, the regularly scheduled one and the "dawn patrol" leaving at 0-dark-30 for the swap meet vendors and others looking for an earlier departure. You also might still be able to get a space for the Saturday night banquet.
But the best day is Sunday, because you'll get in a good ride, and then get to see the awsome spectacle of an entire gymnasium full of 'to die for' bikes. There were more lovely lugged beauties in that place than you can shake a stick at. Not to mention there are usually some great buys at the swap.
