Lou- I am no expert on these matters, but I don't think the decal is referring to the american tubing, True Temper. From the decal, it looks more to be Phillips claim about their steel being "true tempered" Cheers- Dave Anderson Cut nak MT

I've owned a Sturmey Archer equipped Phillips, but I've never seen one that has the "lightweight" decal. The True Temper decal is also very nice. It would be nice to see decals like this on more bikes. The decal on the top of the downtube is also very nice. Too bad the dropouts look stamped. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
