Subject: [CR]San Francisco Wheelmen

About a year ago, our dear departed comrade Dave Staub helped me with the design of a replica SAN FRANCISCO WHEELMEN wool jersey. Since he didn't fit into his old team jersey from the 60s, I decided it was time to make him a new better-fitting Merino wool jersey. With additional encouragement from several past club members like Phil Brown, Jim McCoin, and Peter Bohl, and many others, we went to work designing the 2004 SAN FRANCISCO WHEELMEN team jersey. I am proud and honored to announce that the 100% Merino Wool SAN FRANCISCO WHEELMEN short sleeve jerseys are finally here! It was a nine month ordeal, but I think everyone will agree that it was worth the wait when they see these beautiful jerseys. I just wish Dave was here to take possession of his jersey.

These jerseys are in limited supply, and half of this order is going to Bradley Woehl at American Cyclery. So, if you want one, send a PayPal payment for $120.00 (which includes shipping and handling) to picabo58@earthlink.net

or send an e-mail notifying me of alternative payment (personal check or money order - made payable to JAN JOHNSON).

These are a beautiful royal blue with a white middle section, and blue chain-stitch embroidery on front and back. Made in Italy by Woolistic (formerly Alessandro). They're classic and simple - the blue looks good on everyone and wearing this jersey will definitely turn some heads. And it pays tribute to the first bicycle club in California. How cool can you get? This is some serious mojo; yours for the taking. If you want a jpeg image of the jersey, just send an e-mail to me at picabo58@earthlink.net

Quantities are limited. Don't miss out on owning one of these beauties. Sizes available are Men's (U.S.) MEDIUM, LARGE, XL, 2XL, 3XL. You can see the size chart at http://www.vintagevelos.com
