What size aftermarket pulley will work with a Simplex derailleur?

I've got an SLJ that I want to use, and the pulleys are rather worn. The local shop has only Shimano style replacement pulleys and they are much narrower than the stock units. Compariing to a Campy NR, the simplex pulleys look about the same width. So do old Campy size pulleys work?

Any company making modern replacements?

And, really shooting for the moon, does anyone have Bullseye replacement pulleys in Gold or Black to sell, that would fit a Simplex mech?

Failing a source for replacements, since the inner derailer cage is floating and is positioned by the pulley bolts going through the pulleys, coud I simply use the narrow replacement pulleys and have a narrower cage (I'm using an 8 speed SRAM chain)?

Thanks
