Isn't it nice that no one has decided that the really cool thing to do with Masis and Cinellis and Hetchins and Singers is to chop the top tubes, stretch the forks and make them into lowriders? Phil just made me aware of one reason why I seem to be more interested in classic bikes than classic cars these days. As the warm weather arrives and the modified cars come out, I start to bemoan the loss of a surviving classic when one of those rejects from a toy factory with its modern engine and chassis rumbles by. I still get whiplash when I hear the clatter of an original coming up from behind. I'm so glad that this group still universally bemoans the unenlightened addition of brazeons to a GC. Didn't HetchinsPete just say that he is going to replace the incorrect Campy dropouts in one of his steeds?

To watch this show would be like watching live plastic surgery on J-Lo.
