Paeng,

I'm glad you enjoyed the ride. I'm really whipped and my legs are VERY tired, but that was quite a ride. I'm super pleased that Chuck Schmidt came down for the ride from Pasadena and that several other CR members showed up also. I'll have to write one of my epic ride reports to explain how much fun we had (and to make Pergolizzi feel bad he missed the party). That was probably the toughest fixed gear ride I've ever done. I'm sure you know what I mean, since you were riding a fixie also.

Thanks for showing up. Welcome to the world of vintage lightweights and our little gang of rascals. We really know how to have a good time on our old bikes.

I'd also like to thank Dave Taitano, owner of Ye Olde Bicycle Place and Cafe for hosting the ride. It's a great place to meet for a ride and it's FULL of old bikes of all sorts. Dave and crew were very generous to all of us and I believe we plan to meet there on a regular basis as one of the standard starting points for our monthly vintage rides.

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA If I keep riding I just might get in shape. In the meantime, OUCH!
