No Steve, the left (outside pedal) should be the forward one ON THE ROAD with the crown going up to the left and the front wheel to the left. It doesn't work very well the other way; it's bass ackwards. No wonder your feeling so convoluted . It's much easier my way. But by all means , do it your way in N.C. I'll bring the "Ben Gay" for when ya cramp up. Well, I will need to borrow a fixed(not nearly as much fun on a road bike). My record is 45 minutes. But that was long ago, so don't get scared off. And I only race for money. Baylis: "Pretty slow race, huh?" The only condition is that all bets go to charity. So, come one, come all! And don't forget about this years secret AUCTION!!! Yes, SECRET. Only open to those on this list. PLEASE bring some unwanted bits (old N.O.S. 165mm Campy track cranks, rusty Singer frames, Baylis' old brazing rods ("do you think Ritchie has a longer rod? What about Weigle?") BRING IT ALL!!!! I will auction it off. Just like last years impromptu auction on the second floor! GREAT FUN!!! ALL I ask is that we donate a small percentage of the proceeds (10 to 20% suggested of the sellers end) to charity. I will make it easy. I will decide which charity. Johnny Baron will be assisting me in the auction and perhaps in the "bookmaking" for the trackstand contest. So bring your cash and bring your old bits. Place and time to be announced as this is a "private" party and has NOTHING to do with any other event taking place that weekend.

John T.Pergolizzi San Diego, Ca. Where Feinstermaker hauled my cherries for me on the way home frome Brian's today. Well, I was on my mountain bike , O.K.?
