Ann,

You should have been at the Tucson swap on Saturday. There was a lovely 48? cm fillet-brazed Eisentraut in gold (all SR) for $450. Lovely.

Michael Lebrón was kind enough to send me pictures of his 1951 Holdsworth

Cyclone Deluxe in progress. Ya'all need to look at this one, not only is

it a wonderful bike, but Michael's preservation work is really

excellent. I saw some of the before shots of this one and I'm really

impressed with Michael's skill.

There are before and after shots on my picture site at:

http://community.webshots.com/user/aphillips9

Pictures are in the album titled "Michael Lebrón's 1951 Holdsworth Cyclone

Deluxe." They should be accessible in about 30 minutes.

At this point, all of the before shots are of the complete bike

outside. All the dissembled shots are of the conservation.

This is one I'm going to enjoy looking at when we get to Cirque.

Is Cirque '05 time enough for British themed year yet?

Seeing all these British bikes from the 1950s has sparked my own interest

in the classic marques of the 40s and 50s.

Its too bad they were all such big bikes, they sure are pretty
