OK... my brief experience with tubulars is turning a mite sour... two weeks ago I have an emergency stop and skin the tread and ruin my tyre (Schwalbe Milano). Today I have a simple puncture. I like these tyres because they are 1) cheap ($25) and 2) they are very traditional looking (black tread and tan sidewalls. But they don't have the new Kevlar anti-puncture belting.

So... what is recommended that is reasonably priced, traditional looking and has some measure of puncture resistance... Sadly the Clements sold by Yellow Jersey come in trendy yellow or red stripes or all-black.. all look awful on a PX-10.

I think my Peugeot is jinxed or the British Cycle Gods are angry at me, but I'm willing to give her one more chance or two more... having two more Schwalbes to use, but I'm ready for something else methinks...
