Subject: [CR]Removing dents - recommendations...

Although this is not pertaining to something in the timeline it is a steel lugged frame;) I have a classic problem, a small dent in the top tube.

It occured after shipping my bike using those 'wonderful' folks at greyhound bus after a short tour.

I have seen dents rolled out before a respray. I have heard of crazy things like pushing it out by filling the top tube with water and then letting it freeze. I may have to ship my bike down to the antarctic for that one;)

Has anybody else tried to push dents out from the inside. I thought maybe some sort of air bladder inserted inside the top tub assuming there was a vent hole.

Or, what about one of those paintless dent removal places.?. If the hole is big enough then I wonder if they could snake one of those tools inside the tube and pop it back out.?.

Or maybe the dry ice trick that you can use on a car when it has hail damage? I don't have a clue how that would work - maybe that is a myth?

Anybody got any ideas?
