It's DOT4 rated (which I suppose will matter if your brake levers ger really hot) and it is meant for a different composition rubber than "American" brake fluid. That is, it was developed for English and German cars whose brake sysetm seals would be ruined by ordinary DOT-3 fluid. I must admit, I won't be the first to try it on my brake hoods, though.
