Many years ago Bicycling! magazine ran an article about Colin Laing. This was before the Rodale Press era I think. That might jog someone's memory and they might even stil have the relevant issue. I finally got to do an extended ride on my "new" Viking with an ASC hub in the rear wheel. 35 miles with a fixed gear and I enjoyed it very much. I feel good and the bike was great.
