Subject: [CR]request for help: Campagnolo chainring info

I have been sorting through a number of Campagnolo chainrings and have a few observations to share/ask for clarifications about:

1- I have a few Nuovo Record inner chainrings that have the c in the diamond and then the number of teeth. Some have the stamping giving the number of teeth on the right of the c in the diamond and other on the left. Does this have any influence on the dating of the chainring? 2- On what sizes and when did the c in the diamond appear? Am I correct to believe this was only on the chainrings smaller than 44 and then only on the earlier models? 3- When and on what chainring sizes did Campagnolo start using the stamping style < * > , where the * is the number of teeth begin appearing? 4- When and on what outer chainring sizes did the chain peg appear/disappear?
