Getting back to the original question Ray Dobbins posed of whether this bike is worth the $875 Buy It Now (Ray thought it was "very fair," and I offered the opinion that it was a little high).
With four days to go the bike has received 6 bids with the high bidder being Ken Denny at $661, $214 from the Buy It Now price.
Now, the question is, why wouldn't Ken Denny (FLM [Former List Member] and generally acknowledged to be The World's Foremost Expert On All Things Vintage Lightweight Bike) _not_ be spending an additional $214 to insure the bike would be his and his alone???
Is his opinion, like mine, that this bike is overpriced at the the Buy It Now price of $875?
Based on the above I think you'll all have to agree that the answer is in the affirmative. I rest my case ;)
