In the very early 80's, Jack stopped by the Ski Rack in Burlington, Vermont and asked if we would be willing to take a few of his frames on consignment. I said "sure," but never really pushed them too hard, as we were really focused on selling Marinonis. I think we moved one, and then sent the others back after a year. They were not very sexy, but they were clean, well-built frames at a very reasonable price. I was always sorry that I didn't try harder to move them, as I had the feeling they would be a good company to deal with. They were doing paint and frame repairs and tandems as well.

It doesn't surprise me to hear that Franklin is still in business and still doing quality work.
