Schwinn used the "Olde English Script" or "Disneyland" style down tube lettering only in 60, 61, and 62. After that the lettering was simplified to the smaller block lettering. Because of the oiler port on the bottom bracket, I'd guess this is a very early 60. However it's interesting to note the Campagnolo "Gruppo Record" decal at the bottom of the seat tube on a bike that's equipped with the marvelous all steel Schwinn gruppo.

Bill: Definitely a cool-looking Paramount. I have a '60 Road, S/N C66, but it doesn't have the same d/t decal - mine is a chunkier script-style, gold-colored "Schwinn Paramount" with a thin red border, and on the top of the down tube, readable from the "chain" side. My '63 track (S/N P59) looks very different than this white bike. Is this one repainted? My intuition says probably..... It should also have a serial number on the rear dropout, no? I'd be interested in this one at 1/4 the price.
