I've gotten so much feedback on the pics of the Dalcerri. Thanks you guys. So here is the story on it, as much as I know. I got it a year ago from the infamous Carsten Rehbein (aka Cyclo-24, Cyclo-Network, now defunct again). It was right in the middle of his grab-bag fiasco when he didn't ship for a long time if at all in some cases. I bought several other things from him about that time including a couple of Eddy Merckx frames. Finally in January he shipped all of the above, plus some stuff for Nelson Miller, plus a couple extra pair of shoes as a gift, all for the original shipping on the bike. That huge box came in 2 days and had to have cost several hundred dollars to ship. He is OK in my book and I am sorry he got his life and/or business all screwed up again because I think he is really a stand-up guy at heart. Anyway, I have been unable to find out anything more about this marque, but I did find another list member who has one and we have shared pics. His is newer, rustier, and he does not plan to restore it, although I have tempted him with the repro decals. I stripped it and painted it here by the way, and had the decals reproduced by my favorite decal maker from photos of the originals, who shall remain nameless. Ask me if you want to get any made. I can get it done for you and it is not too expensive. Yes I know the Columbus decal is too new (1953) and the Campy decal is totally wrong too but I just had to put them on. The rims came with it and I don't know the age of them but they had a cool decal on them (Tipo Gran Lusso Ambrosio Torino) that I also reproduced, so I shined them up and rebuilt them on the Cambio Corsa hubs. I will eventually get the cranks rechromed but I hope I can find a less worn-out chainwheel before I do. Anyone got one? Magistroni 3/32", 46-7-8?. Mansfield Bath Road alloy rail saddle didn't come with but the one I had was nearly unrideable. All other parts except cables, tape, clips and straps, and tires, came with the bike. And yes I know bearing spacing on the Magistroni BB is too wide but not sure why. Bike weighs 21 lbs.

Second notice: I have a late 60s-early 70s Hetchins for sale. It used to belong to Mark Petry. I sent him a buyer for it but that fellow has decided to resell it after only 6 months. He turned out to be more of a rider than a collector and really likes the Atlantis that I sold him. This is a 24" Hellenic Straight Stay with Italia lugs. top tube 22 3/4" Painted by Brian Baylis with a few spots touched up since, and some minor wear. Equipped with newer TA triple, Phil Wood BB, new TA pedals with Campy steel clips and Binda Super straps, Campy front derailleur, Deore rear derailleur, Suntour Bar-cons, Phil hubs with Campy straight skewers on Mavic E2 27" rims, built by Cupertino Bike Shop.
