Just to add to the data points...I've got an NOS B15, a "minty" (tastes good) Middlemore Swallow and the Wright's model as a rider. The Middlemore is quite different in construction as it's steel nose has flanges or wings that extend halfway to the back of the saddle. The leather is riveted to these and does not wrap all the way underneath as do the others. It's heavier and has less flex at the front of the saddle but I suspect it will last quite long. The leather seems to be of a good quality.
I too, find narrow saddles comfortable.
