I, like some of you had my interest piqued by an eBay seller from Sydney who had listed quite some fancy items, had perfect feedback but with not one picture of any of the goods up for auction. As it's in my 'hood I emailed the seller clivesqualitytraining and met up with him today to have a look at his wares.
His name is Clive Rodell (I think that's his last name) and the stuff he's selling is for real and as described. I can vouch for the items he has listed only as his other stuff, which sounds most tantalising, is still in storage. He seems a good egg and I now know a lot more about Hetchins and a few other prize English marques.
I had camera and powerbook in hand but he didn't seem too bothered about the lack of pics on the auctions and as it's his gig I left it at that thinking some of you may benefit for lack of competition. Or did I just stuff that up ;)
