ted aren't these brands from later on rather than from the 70s? i barely recall any fuss re dt until the 80s, and the other two brands - are they rooted in the list timeline era? i know them from the 90s, mostly. e-RICHIE chester, ct

I'm rather puzzled that neither of these gentlemen mentioned Robergel. During the 60s, our lifeline, Gene Portuesi, had a lot of us convinced that these were the very best. And, you could pay extra for the "tres etoiles," a stainless version whose name I believe is best translated as "three times as brittle." Oh, do remember to carry spare spokes and nipples, since I believe the nipples used a threading that was not widely shared in the industry...
