I understand that DeRosa has also done a special replica frame this past year that is available exclusively in Japan, but I am not sure of the year it is intended to replicate. I believe the frame is finished in a gold metallic color.

There were 3 replica DeRosa frames in a series in 1994, 95, 96.

The first was the silver-blue metallic 1957 with the script dt logo, (all three pictured in the 1994 Gita catalogue.) Next came the white Heritage 65 frame, often confused with the "Faema" later one, and then the '73 frame in Moltini Orange.

This year (2004) there looks to be a 4th frame replica, for 1953 which has shown up in Japan, I suppose as a 50th anniversary frame. It's black with gold details.

All frames appear to be the same construction. SL tubing, chrome right stay and drop outs, flat crown, and typical 90s braze ons.
