Now Lat7575,
Please be advised my nutty friend Dale drives fast indeed. Quick visits to his son at college in Raleigh have enabled Dale to be time trial champion in the GRG (G'Boro-Rally-G'Boro) run. The reason is it's 85 miles between the towns and a good 5 more to C'deOre. So 90 miles in 45 minutes or about 120 mph in traffic average. The Nascar boys can rest assured Dale is strictly amaturer and has no desires for a professional squads sponsorship.
Now on a visit. Monday would be best to see Dale and Jeff at First Flight as around here we are fairly lazy ( and somewhat strict about it) and don't even open till Tuesday at noon. Naturally we are open the full day till 6:00 PM but we be glad to hang around if you are running late for a good while as we sleep in hammocks between the Park work stands. Let us know in advance if you have a need. Call anytime a the phones follow the weary.
Also if you want me scramble up an Alex Moulton test ride let me know very soon as most models seem to be involved in some eccentric modification and I don't have much ready to ride as they are in bits...everywhere.
Also call for directions and I'll put up a sign and put out the word to the neighbors to be on the lookout for a stranger so you can find us.
Dales and everyone else's nutty friend,
Yours in Cycling,
Gilbert Anderson

NOW you are talking my world! (?)
You MUST go see my funny, nutty friend Gilbert and his mate Susan at their eccentric and neato shop named Northroads:

You are really close to us, only a 45 minutes to the west if you are a fast driver like me.) Let me know when you are coming and I will give you the Grand Tour, even to my home workshop if you have the time. I will show the haunts of the great ones when they have come to the Cirque, this is true vintage buff history!!!
And if you are up for another 45 minute further you MUST see Jeff Archer's First Flight shop in Statesville.

This place is more a museum of cool bike stuff than a bike shop! (That's meant as a compliment, Jeff!)
