Kevin-

The Super Champion Medaille D' Or's were lighter, road rims. They were the first really good tubular rims that I used in the mid-70's and were quite light, somewhere in the range of 250-275 grams (someone else) may recall the actual weight. I think that those rims were the top model from Super Champion at the time. I loved them. They were light, yet tough (I never had cracking, or any problems to speak of) and had them laced with Robergal (spelling?) ss spokes to Campy SR LF hubs. These wheels coupled with Clement Criterium silk tubulars made for a great ride.
