Subject: [CR]bar tape underwrap

I have seen double sided foam tape that is up to 1/4" thick. Possibly 3M offers it? I always use double sided tape under the old style cloth bar tape. It is available in various thicknesses to suit your cushioning needs, seems to keep it's degree of elasticity, as well as holding the covering tape in place for eternity. Wrapping it in a circle around the bars while at the same time removing the backing makes for a fun project too!

Dennis Young had to go to the spikes on the commuter bike in Hotaka, Japan
