Given that I couldn't go back in time to bid on the previously auctioned hub, I must say that I had not gone back to look at the photos for the front hub when I outed the rear Maxicar hub now up for sale. So it would not have surprised me if there was some difference between the two hubs.
That said:
Scott wrote that the rear hub was actually a bolt-on. I've looked at the photo again and it certainly looks to me to be a Q/R version, see:

I believe there may be a difference in vintage, but not much more.
