Chris,

Can you send me a pic of the Dunelt that you have please? I would like to compare it to the one that I have.

In 1958 Dunelt was imported my G. Joannou Cycle Co. New York. I have their catalog, it only shows only 3 speed upright handle bar bikes, the top of the line model was the Floridian. From the picture in the catalog, it looks like it could be Raleigh built.

Well, it was Peter Koskinen who first mentioned Dunelt. The same Peter who owns a Dunelt "International" (I am not sure if that's the name on the bike, but it's a properly badged Dunelt that is a c. 1969 International in every other respect). Others have been spotted. So Dunelt was not as down market as we think. They also made their own club bikes in the 1950s including Reynolds framed ones.
