Scrounging or buying boxes, packing materials etc, and properly wrapping and mailing items is a pain and time consuming. For relatively inexpensive items at least it doesn't seem unreasonable to me to ask for some amount to cover this. As long as all this is disclosed up front at any rate.

In my personal business i don't charge for this, but these are relatively high cost objects that I'm willing to throw in the time spent wrapping etc on.
