Maybe it is just me being paranoid but you could describe the bike a whole lot better by just stating what it says on the "metal Schwinn crest on head tube" that he states in this posting. If I am not mistaken all of the aformentioned bike names appeared on the head tube badge. He describes the head tube badge and two stickers being there but no attempt to read anything off of them. Photo is pretty lame, benefit of the doubt is fine but it does not sell bicycles. Clear concise information does. Perhaps it is a matter of their inexperience on ebay since they only have 36 feedback points and their last one was over a year ago.

It almost looks like this person is going out of their way to be evasive about this frame. I guess that is why the bidding is so low.

Hi Ray:

I don't see any red flags. Seems like an honest seller to me (check his straightforward responses to questions about the frame). He probably just isn't a bike "expert" and so he doesn't know lots about this particular item.

It sounds like maybe it's a 23" Schwinn "Xtra Lite" Voyageur, BTW. (Did they ever chrome Super LeTours? I remember fully-chromed Voyageurs, for sure...). Likely made in Japan by National (Panasonic). 4130 Chrome-moly tubing, forged dropouts. Circa 1979 or so.
