Skip, hope this doesn't sound too rhetorical but was there ever a bike that wasn't fun to ride? Is there a racing bike so pathetic to ride that the only thing it is good for is to hang on a wall?

How does a '50s race bike compare to a nice mid '70s race bike? Truth be told, most riders nowadays would tell you they wouldn't be happy with a mid '70s race bike. If you're really curious as to whether a '50s bike is fun to ride you'll just have to wait till you can try one and then decide if it's your thing or not.

Me? Personally, I love to ride 'em to death!
