Subject: [CR]VAR tool identification please

Nothing like buying stuff that one doesn't know not only the use I may have for it, but also not even knowing what the tool is designed to do.

I just received a VAR tool, designed to be secured to a work bench that is shaped like a pyramid prism. On the square portion of the tool is a housing that has 9 cm tunnel in it and a screw-down mechanism for securing whatever is to be inserted. The inside diameter of the tunnel is ~an inch. It would appear that you would insert a tube, perhaps fork for straightening.

No VAR idenification number is on it.

Any help, please. I could send a jpeg of it, if you think you might know what it is.

Thanks.

Cheers.
