Dale,

Sooner or later C Record will enter the realm of vintage bike equipment. Personally I like C Record - as long as it's not indexed. You might want to relax the 1983 cutoff and make it 20 years and older so that there is a constantly moving cutoff date as time progresses. But it's your list, and you make the rules. This maybe a good discussion for the Cirque.

Based on axle spacing, these are correct for the frame, right? And not the cassette version? Had Campy started making rims by then, if so what's appropriate? Also, I've seen two different

cranks and BBs for C-Record, one with the old style bolt arrangement, and one with the new(er) internal mounting. Which is correct for 1988? And lastly, I

think I've seen C-Record shift levers advertised as for 6 speed, or eight speed. Do I need to make sure the rear derailleur and the shifters are a match. >>

Just a note to remind everyone that drifting into C-Record puts us Off Topic. Don't jettison yourselves into no-list oblivion! Please, it's too sad! :) Thanks Dale
