Don,

San Jose sounds like a fantastic location for the show. The dates work for me. I'm all for the time and place.

I'm not sure what the question is about proximity to a light rail system. Where I live here in San Diego there are light rail tracks literally 50 yards from my front door. One would never know there is a trolley running there constantly. Most people who have been to my house never notice the trolley, even when they are outside and it goes by in plain view. A light rail system in the neighborhood is not a problem as far as I'm concerned. Book the joint.

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA Never been so busy in my entire life; and I've been plenty busy many times in the past.

Howdy Y'all,

after sorting through the details of a HUGE list of options, the question I pose is this... IF this location ( San Jose, Ca.) is selected, does anyone have a problem with the following "issues"...

The hotel is at the airport in San Jose. ( the room rates are phenomenal!! like 59 single) The expo hall is 2 miles away, but the hotel is 150 yards from the light rail system. This could present a logistics problem for those exhibitors flying in, unless of course they are renting a car/van to move their display from the airport to the expo hall, or have pre-shipped their display to the hotel/expo hall.

Please read the below email sent from my "scout" from yesterday afternoon. Any questions? comments? Is this date ok? DW

Hi Don,
I have a response from the Clarion Airport San Jose, 3 star 3 diamond, rate for March 2-5 is $59. It is 2 miles from the Parkside Hall, but they are 150 yards from the light rail. Would your group be able to handle that?
