Wow! Talk about a wide range of shops! Vecchio's is a 1 1/2 man shop, Only road bikes and maybe by appointment only... Wheatbridge is a huge shop. The service work is all done in a separate building, one not accessible by the public, they used a key pad entry locking system to get in. Pretty amazing. Sarah Gibson, Ken Wallace and I visited a shop a few years ago during VeloSwap weekend that was sort of in between the Vecchio's and Wheatbridge. CyclAnalyst(?) in Denver proper that I would maybe try. They has a lot ovf vintage goodies, seemed to have a nice attitude, non elitest and competent. But impressions can be misleading!

A good bet would likely be Vecchio's Bicicletteria in Boulder (owned by Peter Chisholm and Sean Bragstad), or Wheat Ridge Cyclery in Wheat Ridge (owned by Ron Kiefel).
