Sam, It is definitely James Fothergill his shop was in Sheil Road Liverpool. He was there from the 40's through to the 1960's, could be earlier. Well respected Liverpool builder especially his lugless jobs. Have found two bikes one ladies in original paint and transfers and a gents lugless neither are for sale as their owners adore them. Can possibly get you the transfers photographed and the other owner is a sign writer by trade so he can hopefully reproduce them. The best bet on this one is Norris who really knows his onions on builders especially this being a Northern one Finally sadly Mr. James Fothergill died two or three years ago. You take care and best wishes Mick. PS I will post this on the CR so they have a record of him.

Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
