Subject: [CR]library holdings: Golden Age of Handbuilt Bicycles

CR, the short answer is that very few libraries own "Golden Age of Handbuilt Bicycles," and possibly only Bob's illustrious Springfield/Greene County Library. I advise everyone go to their local library and request that the book be purchased for your local library collection, and that you be notified when it is available for checkout. Then go check the book out so that there is at least one circulation to justify it remaining in the collection when they weed the library collection in the years ahead. Books that aren't circulated get weeded out, so even better, check it out yourself once every six months or year or so. Do this even if you already own your own personal copy, because you will be ensuring this book will be around for future generations to enjoy........Peter ============================================================= Peter "I'm a professional librarian so don't do this at home, kids" Brueggeman pbrueggeman@ucsd.edu San Diego CA

CRs, .....Jan Heine and Jean-Pierre Praderes book, "The Golden Age of Handbuilt Bicycles" so I petitioned our local library to purchase it and they came through! ..... I wonder how many have been sold to other libraries. Jan, do you have those statistics? ....Thanks Jan and Jean-Pierre and thanks Springfield/Greene County Library!
